Back to School 601
As many of you know, I began studying for my Masters in Education last fall by taking an online course. It was not practical application information, but it was great information regarding the history of education, and it helped me to carefully define my own philosophy of education--what I think it should be and how it should be carried out. In the spring, I took a required Bible class, which challenged the way I think of humanity being created in God's image...I learned a ton about myself during this class. Both of those courses being online made for a taste into graduate studies, but was by no means a full immersion.
Last Wednesday, though, I entered my first regular classroom for a two-class block. It is quite intense since it takes place in a week and a half with a lot of on-field work. It has been great to get back into studies and to be a student again. I look forward to how God will be able to use me with these new tools in hand. And I look forward to many more classes...at least two years worth with a culminating thesis of 100+ pages; good thing I enjoy writing!
