AT THE HOSPITAL

We spent Isaac's first four days of life at the hospital since Mommy had to have a c-section. We had LOTS of visitors and Isaac got lots of presents...Mommy also got a nice gown, robe and slippers...poor Daddy didn't get anything (except for a PERFECT son)!

All bundled up...Isaac LOVES to be swaddled and held close.
Mommy finally agreed to let Isaac have a pacifier since the nurses told her he was giving himself arm hickies by sucking on them :)
Patricia came to visit and made her role of honorary Mimi known!!!

...and baby makes three!!!!

We welcomed Isaac Hebron Bunts to the world Thursday, February 15, 2007 at 6:40 p.m. He was 7 lbs. 3 oz. and 21.5 inches long!

Here are some pictures we had taken at 34 weeks. We are now at 39 weeks, and we are counting the days to the birth of our baby, affecti0nately referred to by all as Baby Bunts!

23 weeks and counting
Here are our 23 week ultrasound pictures! It's been amazing to see the baby growing so quickly! At this check-up, Baby Bunts weighed 1.5 lbs. We are so thrilled to be welcoming this child into our lives on (or around) February 16!!! Thank you for all your prayers and good wishes!

"The Good Wife's Guide"

Okay, for all of you women who have always been wondering what it REALLY takes to be a good wife, and for all of you men who need a measuring stick to be sure your wife is doing her job...here it is!!! The guide to being a good wife...directly from May 1955!! Wow!!! One of my students gave this to me the other day, and we had a class discussion regarding the roles of women in 1955 versus the roles of women today. It was very interesting! (I teach high school English and literature.)
